Returns, Exchanges & Custom Order Policy
We want every Danique Jewelry piece to feel meaningful, beautiful, and carefully made. Because many of our products are personalized, engraved, handmade, or made to order, some items have special return limitations. If something arrives damaged, defective, or was made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry, please contact us right away and we will make it right.

How to Request Help
To request a return, repair, exchange, rework, or cancellation review, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- Name on the order
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos, if applicable

You may also submit a return or cancellation request through your customer account by signing in at https://account.daniquejewelry.com using the email address used for your order.
Please note: submitting a request does not mean the return, cancellation, repair, exchange, or rework is automatically approved. Each request is reviewed according to our policy.
Engraved & Personalized Products
Engraved and personalized products are custom-made specifically for your order and are not eligible for standard returns, cancellations, or full refunds once production has started, unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or was made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Name jewelry
- Initial jewelry
- Date engraving
- Message engraving
- Handwriting engraving
- Fingerprint, paw print, nose print, or photo engraving
- Custom text, symbols, coordinates, or personalized details
- Any item engraved on the front, back, inside, outside, charm, tag, or disc area
Some product pages may include additional product-specific return or personalization notes. When a product page includes more specific terms for that item, those terms also apply.
Customer Input Errors
Customers are responsible for reviewing all personalization details before placing the order, including spelling, names, initials, dates, birthstone selections, engraving details, metal choice, ring size, bracelet size, chain length, font choice, engraving placement, and shipping address.
If the customer enters the wrong name, date, spelling, stone selection, font, initials, message, size, or other personalization detail, the item is not eligible for a free replacement or full refund.
However, we understand mistakes happen. In these cases, we may offer:
- A 20% discount toward purchasing the same item with corrected personalization, or
- A 20% discount toward a different replacement piece.
Incorrect Engraving or Production Error by Danique Jewelry
If we made an error and the engraving or personalization does not match the details provided with the order, we will correct the issue at no cost.
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- A free repair
- A free replacement
- A corrected engraved component
- Another solution determined by our team
Photos may be required before a replacement, repair, or corrected component is approved.
Broken, Damaged, or Defective Items
If an item arrives broken, damaged, defective, or breaks within our warranty period, we will repair or replace the item at no cost when the issue is covered under our warranty.
We may require photos, order details, or return of the original item before a repair or replacement is processed.
Returns on Engraved or Personalized Items
Because engraved and personalized items cannot be resold or reused, returns are generally not accepted.
If we make an exception and approve the return of an engraved or personalized item, the return is eligible for a 75% refund of the item price only. The remaining 25% is retained as a restocking, labor, and material recovery fee.
Original shipping charges, upgraded shipping, rush fees, gift wrap, custom design fees, rework fees, and other service fees are non-refundable.
Jewelry Assembly Products
Some products are not engraved but are still made to order through jewelry assembly. This may include pieces assembled with selected stones, chains, charms, birthstones, connectors, rings, bracelets, or other components.
Jewelry assembly products may be eligible for return, subject to approval, if:
- The return is requested within the eligible return window
- The item is unworn and in original condition
- The item is returned with all original components
- The return is approved by Danique Jewelry before being shipped back
Approved returns for jewelry assembly items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The refund will be issued for 75% of the item price only.
Original shipping charges, upgraded shipping, rush fees, gift wrap, custom design fees, and service fees are non-refundable.
Eligible Non-Personalized Items
Eligible non-personalized items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, if approved by Danique Jewelry.
Items must be:
- Unused
- Unworn
- In original condition
- In original packaging
- Returned with all original components
Where eligible, exchanges or store credit may be considered within 60 days.
Cancellations
Because many of our items are handmade, personalized, engraved, custom-made, or made to order, production may begin quickly after an order is placed.
Cancellation requests can only be approved if production has not yet started. Once production has started on a personalized, engraved, custom-made, or made-to-order item, the order cannot be canceled unless required by applicable law or unless the item is damaged, defective, or made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry.
Design Reworks
If you like the piece but would prefer changes to the design, stone spacing, charm placement, length, or assembly style, we may be able to rework the item for a small fee.
Design rework fees vary depending on the work required and may include:
- Labor
- Replacement components
- Additional materials
- Return shipping
- Reassembly time
Design reworks must be approved before the item is returned to us.
Warranty Coverage
Danique Jewelry offers a 60-day warranty for covered repairs.
Our warranty covers issues such as:
- Broken chain or bracelet
- Loose jump ring or connector
- Assembly failure
- Incorrect engraving caused by our production error
- Damage that occurred during shipping
- Defective components
When a warranty claim is approved, we may offer:
- A free repair
- A replacement component
- A full replacement
- A pre-paid return shipping label, when applicable
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Tarnishing or natural metal oxidation
- Damage caused by misuse, pulling, bending, dropping, water exposure, chemicals, lotions, perfumes, or improper storage
- Lost items
- Customer input errors
- Customer-selected sizing, chain length, font, stone, or design preferences
- Changes of mind
- Items altered, repaired, or modified by another jeweler or third party
Items Not Eligible for Standard Returns
The following items are not eligible for standard returns unless they arrive damaged, defective, or were made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry:
- Engraved items
- Personalized items
- Custom-made items
- Made-to-order designs
- Sale or clearance items
- Replacement items purchased with a courtesy discount
- Items altered or reworked at the customer’s request
EU/EEA Customers
Customers in the EU/EEA may submit a cancellation or withdrawal request as required by applicable law.
However, personalized, engraved, custom-made, and made-to-order products created to the customer’s specifications may be excluded from standard withdrawal rights once production has started, unless the item is damaged, defective, or made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry.
All EU/EEA requests are reviewed according to our policy and applicable law.
Refund Terms
Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Refunds are based on the item price only and do not include:
- Original shipping
- Upgraded shipping
- Rush production fees
- Gift wrap
- Custom design fees
- Rework fees
- Other service fees
If an item is returned damaged, worn, missing parts, altered, or not in its original condition, the refund amount may be reduced or denied.
Gifts
- If the order was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, an approved refund may be issued as store credit by email.
- If it was not marked as a gift, the refund goes to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
All returns must be approved by Danique Jewelry before they are mailed back.

- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or was made incorrectly by Danique Jewelry.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- For items over $75, we recommend using tracking or shipping insurance.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
